What is a MCP Coordinator?
Hello dear web visitor, and welcome to my pet project, the MCP website. I'm the Coordinator of Madison County's Promise, Sara Coulthart.
Who am I? I love working in any job or position that allows me to work with teens and youth. I get a kick out of their energy and vibe. In a lot of ways, I'm like a big kid myself (if you saw my desk-which is covered with toys, you'd understand)! My past work experience includes past work with the State University of New York as a Resident Hall Director and Faculty and with the Teen AIDS Task Force as a Coordinator. I have an A.A.S in Journalism and a Bachelors in Communications. I'm an Oswego State graduate (GO LAKERS!).
What do I do? In short, as it was once explained to me on the first day of the job, I'm the 'glue of the coalition.' I help keep the coalition strong: strong as in good communication within MCP to make sure that we all know what's happening and what's going on. I also do a lot of public relations for MCP, so I'm usually the first stop for most MCP-related questions. I'm webmaster of the site, and responsible for most of the custom html you'll find on the pages. I'm slightly geeky- I do creative web design in my free time, and I'm available for consultations.
I'm happy to answer any and all questions about our coalition and our website.
